Flight Information Display System (FIDSnet) offers the latest in display techniques using state-of-the-art 4K LCD TV’s with built-in Android Smart Boxes, reducing cost and complexity.

Overview

What is FIDSnet?

The FIDSnet system displays relevant information on airport screens, including:
  • Arrivals and Departures
  • Check-in Desks
  • Gates and Doors
  • Carousels
  • Staff information system with mouse-over function to view movement remarks.

It also features:
  • Fading in and out of logos and flight numbers for up to three code-share flights
  • Support for up to six multi-sector origin/destination airports with scrolling information as needed
  • Bilingual flight remarks
  • Display of banner advertisements or airport messages.
FIDSnet utilizes the latest display technologies, such as Android TVs and Smart Boxes, offering deployment on both systems and reducing cost and complexity.
By utilizing Android Smart Boxes, FIDSnet can be implemented on existing display units, further reducing costs.
FIDSnet has the capability to uplift real-time arrival and departure information to an airport's website. The following are a few examples of live flight information from customers made possible by the FIDSnet web uplift feature.

Setup

FIDSnet utilizes structured cabling, Wi-Fi, Power-over-Ethernet, or a standalone power supply connection for its operations.
The display screens of FIDSnet are highly customizable, with the ability to change font, size, position of elements, color, and displayed content through its easy-to-use Screen Configuration Utility.
